Paul Husak is an EPM Professional with over 18 years of experience. After graduating from the University of Michigan-Dearborn with BBA and a specialization in information services, Paul joined EDS and was part of its SED (systems engineered development program), which he graduated from and worked on projects in the automotive industry. Paul eventually left for a consultant opportunity in 1997 to work with Essbase, the beloved Excel Add-In and Wired for OLAP. From there, Paul continued to work as a consultant developing and architecting Hyperion projects across many industries. Then in 2006, Paul transitioned to an in-house consultant role for a large auto supplier in Michigan. There he worked as their lone Hyperion resource with many hats from developer, infrastructure architect, and project leader. Then in 2010, Paul moved to a large multinational company, where he worked up the ranks as an application architect to manager and now Director of Architecture for a large EPM Shared Services team. Paul's experience has crossed much of the traditional EPM stack but also on running the stack on Oracle's engineered systems (Exalytics and Exadata) and building a highly talented team of architects and operational playbook around it.
