Robin Peel is a Principal Sales Consultant supporting Oracle’s sales teams. His expertise is targeted upon the governance of the critical hierarchies and dimensions that drive performance management, business planning and business intelligence, with deep experience in the design and deployment of Oracle Data Relationship Management across a broad range of industries.
Robin joined Oracle in 2007 as part of the acquisition of Hyperion Solutions. In turn, Robin joined Hyperion as part of the 2005 acquisition of Razza Solutions, a company he joined in 1997. As one of Razza’s first employees, Robin was instrumental in the development, testing, and implementation of Razza’s Enterprise Dimension Management solution, now marketed as “Oracle Data Relationship Management” (DRM). He recently published a “Dimension Management Maturity Model” that helps IT departments and business experts agree upon how to prioritize efforts to enhance the alignment of critical enterprise hierarchies across their technology platforms and business functions.
Previously, Robin spent twelve years working in business and resource planning roles in the British railway industry, designing new systems and business processes for strategic business planning and capital expenditure planning. A meteorology graduate of the University of Reading, England, Robin relocated to the United States in 1993 in search of better weather. Today, Robin makes his home in Seattle and is still seeking better weather. Robin is an instrument-rated private pilot, and also enjoys astronomy and exploring Washington vineyards.
