An enthusiastic and experienced Hyperion Infrastructure Consultant and Hyperion Infrastructure Manager with over 7 years of experience in architecting, implementing, and managing infrastructure for Hyperion Consolidation & Planning systems. Holds a strong record in designing and deploying infrastructure for a wide range of industries including finance, insurance, retail, and government. Specialized infrastructure skills rely in the areas of Oracle Middleware Products (specifically Oracle Hyperion, Business Intelligence and Data Integrator).

A) Accenture: Having worked on my first implementation of one of the first v9.3.1 implementations for a Top 5-Tier bank, I headed up the support team there to take the implementation through cut-over and go-live working with Oracle Support / Consulting to deliver stability on a strategic platform that is being used today to undertake key financial reporting tasks (management reporting, statutory reporting and regulatory reporting).
B) Deloitte Consulting: Going forward from being a support analyst, I joined Deloitte Consulting for 3 years as a Senior Hyperion Infrastructure Consultant, Architect and Lead working on multiple client sites to design/implement strategic Hyperion EPM platforms for clients- normally as part of a wider Finance Transformation Program and in parallel support key tests phases to resolve system issues in the client’s current Financial Reporting System.
C) Barclays Bank PLC: RTB (Run the Bank Lead): I lead a team of 25 support resources, both permanent & SI partner resources, globally spread over 3 locations (USA, UK, and India) to create a “Follow the Sun” support model. I implemented the use of strategic tools and defined processes within the support team to establish a sustainable and resilient support ITIL operating model which was used as a model within other Run Teams within Finance Technology. I managed/coordinated an in-sourcing program within the team that saw 25 SI partner resource roles being transferred to permanent headcount. This included forecasting the number of resources, writing job specifications and engaging in interview process to establish key cost savings.
D) Barclays Bank PLC: Hyperion Infrastructure Lead / Architect: Hyperion Infrastructure Architect / Build Lead leading the Infrastructure Design/Implementation across a number of new programs within the bank implementing Hyperion Solutions.
- Lead a team of 10 build/support resources across multiple project deliveries on new programs to deliver quality/innovative solutions that can be rubber stamped as “Gold Standard” for upcoming projects. This included managing team’s career progression and overall performance through setting strong, measurable objectives.
- Defined/Developed a 3-year road map for Hyperion Infrastructure platforms and lead/drive the team in ensuring all solutions architected/platforms delivered conformed to the road map to ensure all platforms were future proofed.
- Established a strong engagement process with all of the Development Project Leads and Business Units to maintain strong communication and be able to set/manage expectations.
E) Infratects: Working at Infratects Consulting as the UK Practice Manager. Responsibilities include Account Management with current clients and following up on new leads to increase the book of work, drawing up Statement of Works/Commercials, ensuring consultants remain chargable, acting as a point of escalation and defining/building the strategic vision of the practice.
