Martin Neuliep, co-author of the recently published book Developing Essbase Applications: Hybrid Techniques and Practices, has designed and built multidimensional database systems since 1988, focusing on Essbase since 1994. He learned Essbase from inventor Bob Earle and has worked on applications in a wide variety of application areas ranging from epidemiologic surveillance to international banking activity to fashion supply chain optimization, in addition to financial planning and analysis. He also focuses on related metadata and data integration solutions and specializes in system performance optimization. Besides crafting systems, Martin also concentrates on training. He was a co-author of the original Essbase Bootcamp curriculum and has delivered courses to enthusiastic audiences worldwide. He founded General Analytics in 2001.
